Volunteers

The Sixes PTA needs volunteers like you throughout the school year for a variety of committees, activities and events.  This page will be updated regularly.  Please visit this page frequently to find information about the most current volunteer needs.  If you have any other general PTA Volunteer questions, please contact volunteer@sixespta.org for more information. 

Exceptional Children's Week

Exceptional Children's Week (February 22nd - March 1st) was created as a means to educate our Sixes students about children with disabilities, and foster an opportunity for understanding, respect and support.  Parent volunteers are needed to ensure the success of this week long event.  Volunteers will be provided with all of the information necessary to help.  No prior knowledge necessary.  Please contact Patti Tressler at exceptionalchildren@sixespta.org for more information about volunteering.

  

Sixes Spirit Wear

We are looking for a few people to help sell Sixes Spirit Wear during lunch on Wednesday February 24th, March 24th and April 28th during the school lunch hours.  If you are able to help, please contact Kelly Pearson at spiritwear@sixespta.org.

  

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is an international organization dedicated "To educate and prepare girls for a life time of self-respect and healthy living."  Sixes is interested in starting a chapter at our school next year.  We are looking for a mom to attend a meeting this year at Freedom Middle School on 2/25 at 2:30 pm and bring back information.  Please contact Kyla Cromer co-prez@sixespta.org if you are interested in attending.
