The National PTA Art Contest...Reflections

The deadline for the National PTA Art Contest, Reflections, is near! This year’s theme: “Beauty Is…” encourages kids in grades K-12 to express their creativity in the following areas:

music
photography;
visual arts;
dance choreography;
film and video/production

Entry packets are still available in the Front Office. The deadline for submission (General Participation Rules) of entries is October 1, 2009. Check out the Reflections Program Gallery at www.pta.org to see entries from last year. For more information, please contact the Sixes Reflections Committee Chair, Cynde Tweddle at reflections@sixespta.org. Participants will be recognized at a Reflections Breakfast on October 20, 2009.

Also, Judges are needed to judge submissions. However, judges cannot be directly affiliated with Sixes Elementary.
