PASS/PERT Topics

September Topic:  What Happens in a Crisis--Where Do Your Children Go During School Hours?
Cherokee law enforcement explained the do's and don'ts of parents and children during a crisis situation at school.  For example:
Did you know that parents are not allowed to pick children up from school during a crisis?
Did you know that cell phones are not allowed to be used during a crisis because of possible hazards?
Do you know where your children are evacuated to in the event of a crisis?
Do you know who will take care of your children in the event that you are unable to get to your children in the event of a crisis?
If you answered NO to any of the above questions, please make sure you attend the next PASS Meeting.  Remember...the more informed we are...the better prepared we are!!! P.A.S.S. the information!!!
