Cherokee County & State District Awards
On April 30, 2009, Sixes PTA leaders, along with Mr. Hultquist, attended a Cherokee County and state 13th District Awards Banquet. Sixes PTA was presented with the Model PTA Award from the Cherokee County Council of PTAs. Georgia PTA also presented Sixes PTA with three awards: Outstanding Local Unit, Award of Distinction and Model PTA in the 13th District. We were also recognized for participating in PTA
Day at the Capital. These awards are based on meeting criteria to be “In Good Standing” and providing a strong format for parent engagement, advocacy and partnership in the school community. Congratulations to Sixes PTA for all the outstanding work.
