Why participate in Sixes Boosterthon?

The Boosterthon is Sixes main PTA fundraiser.  The contributions collected by your child will go toward new educational materials such as AIMSWeb Response to Intervention Monitoring Program and the Write to Learn Technology Program as well as school improvements.  In fact, did you know that 10% of the contributions made by your child's class will go directly to his or her teacher to put toward materials for their classroom.  Especially given the educational cutbacks that are in store for Georgia, every little bit counts!

After listening to your opinions on the parent survey last year, we limited the number of fundraising activities and brought in a new way to raise money for Sixes that incorporates getting our kids active, focusing on positive character traits and motivating our kids to make a difference in their own school and community.  Boosterthon is that and more!

This year, our Boosterthon goal is $35,000!  Each student is challenged to contact 10 sponsors.  All pledges are 100% tax-deductable and due on Thursday, March 18th.  Checks can be made out to Sixes PTA.

Please join us on Friday, March 12th for your child's Fun Run.  If you came last year, you know how much fun this event is for kids, faculty and parents alike.  If you missed it, make sure you join us this year for some serious positive energy and lots of fun to boot!  We look forward to seeing you there cheering your children on.
